At the memorial service in St Martin-in-the-Fields Church, Trafalgar Square, London. October 14th 1982.
"Even
at the end she could laugh and joke. She seemed able to step outside of
herself, and seem like a character in her own play. In her major suffering,
she turned into an example of courage that would live for ever. She was
a brave and gallant woman"
Miss Lindstrom
said afterwards: " I thought the service was wonderful, and it had its
happy moments. My mother would have loved it"
